1. Tour Itinerary
On arrival at Beijing airport or railway
station, you will be met by our guide
and transferred to your hotel. The rest
of day is at leisure or explore the
nightlife of Beijing on your own.

Covering an area of 2,700,000 square
meters, it is located in the southeastern
part of central Beijing. The temple
of Heaven was built in 1420 AD Ming
Dynasty and then expanded and reconstructed.
It was for emperors of the two dynasties
to worship heaven and pray for rich
harvest. Now, it has been a famous tourist

Palace: The chief residence and winter palace of the Dalai Lama since the 7th century. This immense religious and administrative complex is situated atop the Red Mountain, 130 meters above the Lhasa River valley. Potala Palace is 3,700 meters above sea level and covers an area of over 360,000 square meters; its 13 stories of buildings have more than 1,000 rooms, 10,000 shrines and about 200,000 statues.
Monastery: Founded in 1419, it is one of three famous monasteries in Tibet. As a complex of structures with the Great Assembly Hall and three colleges, Sera is the representative monastery of the Gelugpa of the Tibetan Buddhism, sometime in the history it housed about 6000 monks from all over Tibet.
Norbulingka: The traditional summer residence of the successive Dalai Lamas from the 1780s until the late 1950s. Norbulingka means "treasure park" in the Tibetan, it measures about 430,000 square yards, with 374 rooms inside. As a unique representation of Tibetan palace architecture, Norbulingka is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2001.

Temple: The most sacred and important temple in Tibet. Built in 647 during the reign of King Songtsen Gampo, it has a history of more than 1,300 years. The temple was built for the king's bride Princess Wencheng of the Chinese Tang Dynasty, to house the Buddhist statues and images she has brought to Tibet.
Drepung Monastery: Established in 1416, it is one of the Three Great Monasteries in Tibet. Covering an area of 250,000 square meters, Drepung Monastery is known as the biggest monastery in the world with many cultural relics. At its peak, more than 10,000 people lived in the monastery.
Tibet Museum: Covering an area of 54,000 square meters, it is the first modern museum in Tibet with a rich collection of cultural relics including Buddha statues, Tibetan scriptures, jade seals, gold albums, tangkas and folk arts.
Street: Encircling Jokhang Temple, it is a famous commercial center in Lhasa. Barkhor Street has a history of more than 1300 years, visitors can find all kinds of fantastic commodities here: bronze Buddhist statues, prayer beads, carpets, thangkas, joss sticks, prayer wheels.

Dynasty Show: A
performance of Chang'an music and dances
that was originated in the Tang dynasty
of Chinese history over a thousand years
will take you to the Terra Cotta Warriors
Museum, the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and
Ancient City Wall.
Cotta Warriors Museum: The underworld
army of Qin Shihuang who was the first
emperor and unifier of China (259BC-210BC).
More than 8000 life-size terra cotta
warriors, archers, horses and bronze
chariots have silently guarded the emperor's
tomb for more than 2,200 years.
Wild Goose Pagoda: Built in 652 A. D., the pagoda is a part of the Da CiĄŻen temple complex and is regarded as a National Key Cultural Relic. It contains a large volume of Buddhist scriptures, which were obtained from India by the eminent monk of Xuanzang who was a great translator as well as a famous traveler. At the age of 28 in 627 A.D., he travelled alone to India for the learning and studying of Buddhist scriptures.
City Wall: Built in Ming Dynasty
(1368-1644), it is the best-preserved
defensive wall in China. The wall is
13.7 kilometers in circumference and
12 meters in height. A moat surrounds
the wall. Over the moat, there used
to be a huge drawbridge.

Visit the Shaanxi Provincial History
Museum and the Great Mosque. Transfer
to the airport for flight to Shanghai.

the Bund that is a great street for
Provincial History Museum: The museum,
with a floor space of over 4,000 square
meters, was opened in 1952. There are
more than two thousand ancient artifacts
on display. They are divided into three
sections: Forest of Steles (the oldest
and richest collection of such stone
tablets in China), Gallery of Stone
Sculpture, and Historical Relics.
Mosque: The Great Mosque is the
famous Islamic mosque in China-Xian.
It is one of the oldest, largest and
best-preserved Islamic mosques in China.
The design of The Great Mosque is of
mixed architecture - traditional Muslim
and Chinese styles.
Bund: As the architectural symbol
of Shanghai, the Bund is on the west
bank of Huangpu River and winds one
kilometer. The name "the Bund" is derived
from an Anglo-Indian term meaning literally
Ą°muddy embankmentĄ±. To the west of
the Bund, there are 52 magnificent buildings
standing in different styles: Rome,
Baroque, Gothic, Renaissance, Classic
and the combination of Eastern and Western
style, most of them were erected before

Visit the Shanghai Museum, the Yu Yuan
Garden, Shanghai Old Street and former

Museum: Shanghai Museum is a treasure
house of Chinese cultural essence with
a rich collection of 120,000 valuable
antique items. Shanghai Museum is especially
famous for its treasures of bronzes
(bells, knives, axeheads, chariot ornaments),
ceramics, Chinese calligraphy and traditional
Yuan Garden: This small park is
located in the heart of Shanghai's old
Chinese quarter and links to Yuyuan
Market. Built in 1559, in the Suzhou
style by a high official in honor of
his father, the garden has maintained
its classic beauty over the centuries.
French Concession: It is once designated
for the French from 1849 to 1946, consisting
of today's Luwan and Xuhui Districts.
Interesting architecture built with

Today, the area is characterized by
quiet, tree-lined avenues, French-style
villas, interesting boutiques, lively
