Arrive in Chengde. Be met by our
guide and then tour to the Imperial
Mountain Resort and and Pule Temple.
Transfer to your hotel.
Imperial
Mountain Resort: It is China's
largest imperial garden, covering
an area of 5.6 million sq. meters,
and with a wall of 10km. surrounding
the garden. Its construction started
from the 42nd year of Emperor
Kangxi's reign (1702), and completed
in the 57th year of Emperor Qianlong's
reign (1792). |

Outer Eight Temples: Outside
the surrounding wall of the Mountain
Resort of Chengde in Hebei Province,
lies an orderly array of eight
brilliant and golden temples.
Located east of the Wulie River
are the Puren Temple, the Pule
Temple and the Anyuan Temple.
To their north and at the foot
of the cliff is the Puning Temple.
North of the Mountain Resort are
the Xumifushouzhi Temple, the
Putuozongchengzhi Temple and the
Shuxiang Temple. These temples
are arrayed around the Mountain
Resort on the eastern and northern
sides just like stars surrounding
the moon in a semicircle.
