Dr. Sun Yatsen's Memorial Hall,
Chen Family's Temple and Temple
of the Six Banyan Trees. Transfer
to your hotel, end of service.
Sun
Yatsen's Memorial Hall: Sun
has been respected as Father of
Modern China since he fought unyieldingly
against the corrupt Qing government
(1616-1911) and led the 1911 revolution
to end feudal system and found
Republic of China (1912-1949),
leading Chinese people into a
new era.
Chen Family's Temple: Built
in the 1890s. Its windows, door
frames, and pavilions are lavishly
decorated with intricate carvings
and sculptures. It is now the
largest and best preserved and
decorated ancient architecture
existing in Guangdong province.
Temple of the Six Banyan Trees:
A famous ancient Buddhist temple
that was built in 537 in the Liang
dynasty during the Southern dynasties
(386-581). |
