Visit the Dr. Sun Yatsen's Memorial
Hall, Chen Family's Temple and
Temple of the Six Banyan Trees.
Transfer to the airport for flight
to Guilin.
Dr. Sun Yatsen's Memorial Hall:
Dr. Sun has been respected as
Father of Modern China since he
fought unyieldingly against the
corrupt Qing government (1616-1911)
and led the 1911 revolution to
end feudal system and found Republic
of China (1912-1949), leading
Chinese people into a new era.
Chen Family's Temple: Built
in the 1890s. Its windows, door
frames, and pavilions are lavishly
decorated with intricate carvings
and sculptures. It is now the
largest and best preserved and
decorated ancient architecture
existing in Guangdong province.
Temple of the Six Banyan Trees:
A famous ancient Buddhist temple
that was built in 537 in the Liang
dynasty during the Southern dynasties
(386-581). |

Guilin
- Li River Cruise - Yangshuo
(Breakfast
+ Lunch)
Cruise down the
Li
River to
Yangshuo
which takes 3-4
hours, enjoy the most beautiful
landscape in China, have lunch
on board. Disembark your ship
when arriving Yangshuo. Transfer
to the hotel in Yangshuo. |

Yangshuo
- Guilin - Xi'an (Breakfast
+ Lunch)
Drive back to Guilin. Visit the
Seven Star Park and the Elephant
Trunk Hill. Transfer to the airport
and take flight to Xi'an.
Seven
Star Park: A beautiful park
which covers 120 hectares and
includes peaks, rivers, caves,
gardens and relics.
Elephant Trunk Hill: Situated
majestically at the southeast
of Guilin city and west bank of
Li River, Elephant Trunk Hill
is regarded as the symbol of Guilin
landscape. |

Xi'an

Visit the Terracotta Warriors
Museum, the Big Wild Goose Pagoda
and the Forest of Stone Steles
Museum. Enjoy the Tang Dynasty
Dinner Show this evening.
Terracotta
Warriors Museum: The most
significant archeological excavations
of the 20th century. It is a sight
not to be missed by any visitor
to China.
Big
Wild Goose Pagoda: The Pagoda
was first built in 652 in the
Tang Dynasty. Xuanzang, a prominent
Buddhist scholar of the time,
planned to have a huge stone pagoda
built to house the Sanskrit Buddhist
scriptures he had brought back
from India.
Forest
of Stone Steles Museum: The
Stele Forest stores voluminous
artworks which possess not only
eximious value of handwriting
and art, but also rich cultural
connotation. The Stele Forest
began to be built in 1087.
Tang
Dynasty Dinner Show: A performance
of Chang'an music and dances that
was originated in the Tang dynasty
of Chinese history over a thousand
years ago. |

Xi'an
- Beijing (Breakfast

Visit the Shaanxi Provincial History
Museum, the Great Mosque and the
Ancient City Wall.
Transfer to the airport for flight
to Beijing.
Shaanxi
Provincial History Museum:
Covers an area of 70,000 square
meters, the museum houses a large
collection of 113,000 historic
and cultural artefacts unearthed
in Shaanxi, being an absolute
must for every visitor to the
city.
Great
Mosque: Built in 742 A.D.,
the mosque was restored in each
of the Yuan (1271 - 1368), Ming
and Qing Dynasties. The distribution
of pavilions, halls, towers and
platforms in the mosque is compact
and exquisite, blending the traditional
architectural styles of Islam
and Han.
Ancient
City Wall: The wall is 15
meters wide and 11.9 kilometers
in perimeter, it is the best preserved,
oldest and largest ancient city
defence system in China. |

Visit Tiananmen
Square, the Forbidden City (the
Imperial Palace) and the Summer
Palace. Enjoy the Beijing Duck
Dinner and the Peking Opera in

Tiananmen
Square: Tian'anmen
Square, the largest square in
the world, encompasses 440,000
square metres, about the size
of 60 soccer fields, 880 metres
from north to south and 500 metres
from east to west, big enough
to hold half a million people.
Forbidden
City: The
Forbidden City China is a symbol
of oriental culture, Established
on the basis of the Imperial PaLace
of the Ming and Qing dynasties.
One cannot be counted as having
visited China if he or she has
never visited the Forbidden City
of China.
Summer
Palace: The
Summer Palace is a monument to
classical Chinese architecture,
in terms of both garden design
and construction. Incorporating
scenes from surrounding landscapes,

Wall Of China: One

Wall extends to more than 5,000
kilometers.
Ming
Tombs: Some
50 kilometers northwest of the
downtown Beijing, the Ming Tombs
are generally combined with a
visit to the Great Wall. Otherwise
known as the "13 Tombs", this
is the burial site of 13 out of
17 emperors of the Ming Dynasty.

Visit the Temple of Heaven. Transfer

Temple
of Heaven: Situadet in the
South-Eastern part of Beijing,
the Temple of Heaven is the largest
still existing sacrificial temple
in China. It was used as the site
for imperial sacrifices during
the Ming and Qing dynasties. It
was here that the emperor conducted
the elaborate and most exalted
sacrifices addressed to "the Supreme
Ruler of the Universe" to ask
for the heavens blessings and
good harvest. |

Visit the Lingyin
Temple, the West Lake, the National
Silk Museum of China and the Red
Carp Pond.
Lingyin
Temple: Founded
in 326 A.D, and reputed as the
No. 1 Temple in Southeast China.
The 24.8-meter tall Buddha statue
in its main hall is the second
largest indoor one in China.
West Lake: One
of the most famed tourist attractions
in China. For centuries, the West
Lake has been well known both
for its picturesque landscape
and for cultural heritage surviving
yet illustrating the past dynasties.
National
Silk Museum of China: The
first state-level museum dedicated
to silk culture and the biggest
silk museum in the world. |

Drive to Shanghai.
Visit the Oriental Pearl TV Tower.
Have an evening cruise over Huangpu
River.
Oriental
Pearl TV Tower: With
a height of 1,245 feet, it is
one of the tallest structures
in Asia.
Huang
Pu River: A
tributary of the Yangtze and there
is plenty of traffic on it to
prove its importance. You'll see
the magnificent building skylines
on both the historic west side
(the Bund), and the modern east
side (Pudong) as well as the working
area of coal boats filling barges
and sending them downriver. It's
fun to see such lively river life
as well as Shanghai's amazing
skyline. |

Visit the Shanghai
Museum, the Yu Yuan Garden, Shanghai
Old Street and former French Concession.
Have a stroll over the Bund. Enjoy

Shanghai
Museum: The

of collection, including bronze,
ceramics, paintings, calligraphy,
sculpture, ancient Chinese coins,
jade furniture, and western art.
Yu
Yuan Garden: A
traditional Chinese park complete
with beautiful pavilions, miniature
lakes, bridges and rock formations.
Former
French Concession: The
French Concession is the area
of Shanghai once designated for
the French. Today, the area's
central Huaihai Rd is a busy shopping
street, but the tree-lined avenues
and their many Tudor mansions
still retain an air of the "Paris
of the East".
The
Bund: With
a length of 1 km, the bund is
dotted with various grandiose
solid buildings of western style
dating back to the early this
century in its west. Due to these
imposing buildings, the bund is
also reputed as "an international
exhibition of architecture".
