in Beijing
Upon your arrival in Beijing,
our English-speaking tour guide will
meet you at the airport. After claiming
your luggage, you will easily find our
guide holding a welcome sign with your
name on it. Transfer to your hotel.
Afternoon at leisure to overcome jetlag.

Beijing

Visit Tiananmen Square,
the Forbidden City (the Imperial Palace)
and the Summer Palace. Enjoy the Beijing
Duck Dinner and the Peking Opera in
the evening.
Tiananmen
Square: The
biggest downtown Square of the
world, it is located in the heart
of urban Beijing and large enough
to accommodate an assembly of
one million people.
Forbidden
City: Also
called Palace Museum and is located
at the center of Beijing. It was
the imperial palace during the
Ming (1368 - 1644) and Qing (1616-1911)
dynasties.
Summer
Palace: The
largest imperial garden of Ming
and Qing dynasty. The whole Summer
Palace covers an area of over
290 hectares including more than
3,000 buildings, such as halls,
pavilions, towers, etc.
Beijing
Duck Dinner: Beijing
Roasted duck is renowned as the
most delicious food of Beijing.
Peking
Opera: Beijing
Opera is deemed the national opera
of China. The accompanying music,
singing and costumes are full

Take an excursion to
the Great Wall and the Ming Tombs. See
the appearance of the Bird's Nest (Olympic
National Stadium) at a distance.
Great
Wall Of China: One
of the seven wonders in the world
and the symble of China. The Great
Wall extends to more than 5,000
kilometers.
Ming
Tombs: Located
60 Kilometers north of Beijing,
Ming Tombs consist of mausoleums
of 13 Ming emperors. |

Beijing
- Xi'an (Breakfast

Tour to the Temple
of Heaven. Transfer to the airport for
flight to Xi'an.
Visit Ancient City Wall. Enjoy the local
speciality Dumpling dinner this evening.
Temple
of Heaven: The
place where the ancient emperors
used to pray for the God's bless
of the whole nation.
Ancient
City Wall: The
wall is 15 meters wide and 11.9 kilometers
in perimeter, it is the best preserved,
oldest and largest ancient city defence
system in China.
Dumpling:
A traditional and popular
food with a long history in China. There
is a popular saying in China: "There
is nothing more delicious than Jiaozi."

Xi'an
(Breakfast
+ Lunch + Dinner)
Visit the Terra Cotta
Warriors Museum, the Forest of Stone
Steles Museum and the Big Wild Goose
Pagoda. Enjoy Tang Dynasty Show this
evening.
Terra
Cotta Warriors Museum: The
most significant archeological excavations
of the 20th century. It is a sight not
to be missed by any visitor to China.
Forest
of Stone Steles Museum: The
Stele Forest stores voluminous artworks
which possess not only eximious value
of handwriting and art, but also rich
cultural connotation. The Stele Forest
began to be built in 1087.
Big
Wild Goose Pagoda: The
Pagoda was first built in 652 in the
Tang Dynasty. Xuanzang, a prominent
Buddhist scholar of the time, planned
to have ahuge stone pagoda built to
house the Sanskrit Buddhist scriptures
he had brought back from India.
Tang
Dynasty Show: A
performance of Chang'an music and dances
that was originated in the Tang dynasty
of Chinese history over a thousand years
ago. |

Xi'an
- Guilin (Breakfast
+ Lunch)
Visit the Shaanxi Provincial
History Museum and the Great Mosque.
Transfer to the airport for flight to
Guilin.
Shaanxi
Provincial History Museum: Covers
an area of 70,000 square meters, the
museum houses a large collection of
113,000 historic and cultural artefacts
unearthed in Shaanxi, being an absolute
must for every visitor to the city.
Great
Mosque: Built in
742 A.D., the mosque was restored in
each of the Yuan (1271 - 1368), Ming
and Qing Dynasties. The distribution
of pavilions, halls, towers and platforms
in the mosque is compact and exquisite,
blending the traditional architectural
styles of Islam and Han. |

07 |
Guilin
- Li River Cruise - Yangshuo
(Breakfast
+ Lunch)
Cruise down the
Li
River to
Yangshuo
which takes 3-4 hours,
enjoy the most beautiful landscape in
China, have lunch on board. Disembark
your ship when arriving Yangshuo. Transfer
to the hotel in Yangshuo. Tour to the
countryside, visit Yulong River and
Yulong village. |

08 |
Yangshuo
- Guilin - Chongqing (Breakfast
+ Lunch)
Drive back to Guilin.
Visit the Reed Flute Cave, Seven Star
Park and the Elephant Trunk Hill. Transfer
to the airport for flight to
Chongqing.
Our guide will pick you up from the
airport. Visit the Chongqing Zoo and
Ciqikou old street. After dinner, board
the Cruises for a memorable voyage down
the mighty Yangtze River.
Reed
Flute Cave: The
largest and most impressive cave in
Guilin, you will see many beautiful
stalactites & stalagmites.
Seven
Star Park: A beautiful
park which covers 120 hectares and includes
peaks, rivers, caves, gardens and relics.
Elephant
Trunk Hill: Situated
majestically at the southeast of Guilin
city and west bank of Li River, Elephant
Trunk Hill is regarded as the symbol
of Guilin landscape. |

09 |
Shibaozhai
(Breakfast
+ Lunch + Dinner)
07:30-09:30, disembark for an excursion
to Shibaozhai.
Shibaozhai was first built in Qing Dynasty
in 1750, the mountain looks like a rectangular
rock with sheer cliffs, and the wooden
architecture that is built by catch
upon the cliff with a height of 56 meters
and 12 stories, standing on the riverside.
Back to the ship and continue the cruise.
The Captain's Welcome Party will be
held in the evening. |

10 |
Three
Gorges - Sandouping (Breakfast
+ Lunch + Dinner)
07:00-07:30, sail through the
Qutang
Gorge, its towering
rock formations have names which reflect
their bizarre shapes such as Hanging
Monk Rock or Rhinoceros Looking at the
Moon.
08:00-09:00, pass the second gorge -
Wu
Gorge, celebrated
for its lofty Twelve Peaks which almost
blot out the sky. The guides will talk
about legend of historic sites: Ancient
Plank Road, Mengliang Stairway and the
suspended coffins on the sheer cliffs.
10:00-13:30, disembark at Badong and
take a sampan tour to the picturesque
Shennong Stream. The Shennong Stream
is a tributary carrying clear, cooler
water into the Yangtse. The "stream"
runs through steep gorges, in which
the ancient asian Bahu people used to
live, thousands of years ago. Back to
the ship and continue the cruise.
16:00-17:00, pass the Xiling
Gorge. About 66
km long, it is the longest of the Three
Gorges and is entirely within Hubei
Province. This gorge is full of shoals
and rapid currents.
20:00, pass the 5-stage shiplock. Dock
overnight at Sandouping. |

Sandouping
- Yichang - Shanghai (Breakfast
+ Lunch)
08:00-10:00, shore
excursion to visit the Three
Gorges Dam, it
is planned to be by far the largest
hydroelectric project in the world.
Back to the ship and continue the cruise.
Disembarkation in Yichang
at about 13:00, Our
local guides will get on board to meet
you. Transfer to the airport for flight
to Shanghai.
Upon arrival transfer to your hotel.
Have an evening cruise over Huangpu
River.
Huang
Pu River: A tributary
of the Yangtze and there is plenty of
traffic on it to prove its importance.
You'll see the magnificent building
skylines on both the historic west side
(the Bund), and the modern east side
(Pudong) as well as the working area
of coal boats filling barges and sending
them downriver. It's fun to see such
lively river life as well as Shanghai's
amazing skyline. |

Visit the Shanghai
Museum, the Yu Yuan Garden, Shanghai
Old Street and former French Concession.
Have a stroll over the Bund. Enjoy the
Portman Acrobatic Show in the evening.
Shanghai
Museum: The museum
boasts over 120,000 pieces of collection,
including bronze, ceramics, paintings,
calligraphy, sculpture, ancient Chinese
coins, jade furniture, and western art.
Yu
Yuan Garden: A
traditional Chinese park complete with
beautiful pavilions, miniature lakes,
bridges and rock formations.
Former
French Concession: The
French Concession is the area of Shanghai
once designated for the French. Today,
the area's central Huaihai Rd is a busy
shopping street, but the tree-lined
avenues and their many Tudor mansions
still retain an air of the "Paris
of the East".
The
Bund: With a length
of 1 km, the bund is dotted with various
grandiose solid buildings of western
style dating back to the early this
century in its west. Due to these imposing
buildings, the bund is also reputed
as "an international exhibition
of architecture". |
