Beijing
Upon your arrival in Beijing,
our tour guide will pick you up at the
airport and transfer to your hotel.

02 |
Beijing
(BLD)
Visit the Forbidden City (the Imperial
Palace), the Tiananmen Square and the
Temple of Heaven. Enjoy the Beijing
Duck Dinner and the Peking Opera in
the evening.
Forbidden
City: Also called Palace Museum and is located at the center of Beijing. It was the imperial palace during the Ming (1368 - 1644) and Qing (1616-1911) dynasties.
Tiananmen
Square: The biggest downtown Square of the world, it is located in the heart of urban Beijing and large enough to accommodate an assembly of one million people.
Temple
of Heaven: The place where the ancient emperors used to pray for the God's bless of the whole nation.
Beijing
Duck Dinner: Beijing Roasted duck is renowned as the most delicious food of Beijing.
Peking
Opera: Beijing Opera is deemed the national opera of China. The accompanying music, singing and costumes are full of Chinese cultural facts.

Take an excursion to the Badaling Great
Wall and the Ming Tombs.
Badaling
Great Wall: One of the seven wonders in the world and the symble of China. The Great Wall extends to more than 5,000 kilometers.
Ming
Tombs: Located 60 Kilometers north of Beijing, Ming Tombs consist of mausoleums of 13 Ming emperors.

Beijing
- Datong (BL)
Visit the Yonghegong Lama Temple. Have
a Hutong hour by rickshaw. Take the
afternoon train to Datong.
Yonghegong
Lama Temple:
A renowned temple of the Yellow Hat Sect of Lamaism and the only downtown Buddhism temple in Beijing. Its 5 main halls and many galleries are filled with exquisitely detailed tanka paintings and beautifully carved or cast Buddha images.
Hutong:
The old narrow
lanes where common people lived. All
the Hutongs crisscross with each other,
dotted with the Kingdergarten, the
Bell Tower, Drum Tower, Tea House,
the lake, House of Gong Infante and
local people's houses among them.

Datong
(BL)
Tour to the Yungang Grottoes, the Huayan
Monastery, the Nine Dragon Screen and
Shanhua Monastery.
Yungang Grottoes:
China's largest grottoes and world-famous
treasure-house of arts and culture with
53 caves, with 51,000 carved statues
and bas-reliefs.
Huayan Monastery:
These splendid ancient buildings were
constructed of wood during the Liao
Dynast more than nine hundred years
ago.
Nine
Dragon Screen:
This glazed-brick structure has nine
dragons sculptured in relief in five
colors, the screen is 45.5 meters long,
8 meters high, and 2 meters thick. It
was built more than six hundred years
ago.
Shanhua
Monastery: The
monastery was first built in A.D. 713-741
during the Tang Dynasty, the entire
monastery is a well-proportioned, well-preserved
complex. It contains more than thirty
Buddhist statues sculptured during the
Liao and Kin dynasties, the most noteworthy
being covered in gold leaf.

Datong
- Taiyuan - Pingyao (BLD)
Take morning train with soft seats to
Taiyuan. Visit Qiao Family's compound,
the Shuanglin Temple and the Pingyao
Ancient City Wall.
Qiao
Family's compound:
Built in 1755, this well-preserved and
exquisite structure used to be the residence
of Qiao Zhiyong, who was a famous businessman
during the Qing Dynasty.
Shuanglin
Temple: A Buddhist
temple with a long history. Inside the
temple are more than two-thousand painted
sculptures which arts are of precious
value.
Pingyao
Ancient City Wall:
First built about 2,700 years ago, the
ancient city wall was expanded in the
Ming Dynasty. It was the most well-preserved
wall among the ancient historical and
cultural cities in China. |

Pingyao
- Taiyuan - Beijing (BLD)
Visit the Ming - Qing Street, the Ri
Sheng Chang Financial House, the Chenghuang
Temple and the Tongxinggong ancient
bank bodyguard establishment. Drive
back to Taiyuan, visit the Jinci Temple
on the way. Take the overnight soft
berth train back to Beijing.
Ming
- Qing Street:
The street used to be the commercial
center of Pingyao ancient city. The
traditional and orderly-located shops
of the Ming and Qing Dynasties are still
well preserved.
Ri
Sheng Chang Financial House:
Ri Sheng Chang was established in the
early Qing Dynasty. It was China's forerunner
for organizing Chinese early finance
system, handling remittance, money exchange,
deposit, loan and other financial business.
Jinci
Temple: Jinci Temple
is the most famous of all the historical
relics in Taiyuan, with an artistic
combination of ancient garden and architecture.

Private transport between airport or

The economic class air tickets of the
domestic flight or soft berth/seat train

6. Guiding
service
All normal sightseeing tours in each
city with English-speaking guide and
admission fees where applicable. Our
guide will not fly with you from one
city to another. Upon your arrival at
each city, a new local guide and driver
will pick you up, be with you for local
tour and see you off after you finish
the itinerary of each city. The cruise
shore excursion is in-group assigned
by the cruise company.

The hotel is based
on double occupancy. If the visitor
travels alone or the number of the travelers
is odd (such as 3,5, 7...), who stays
in one single room has to pay the single
room supplement. As the hotel is on
double occupancy.
