Beijing
Upon your arrival in Beijing,
you will be met by our guide and escorted
to your hotel. |

02 |
Beijing
(BLD)
Visit the Forbidden City (the Imperial
Palace), the Tiananmen Square and the
Temple of Heaven. Enjoy the Beijing
Duck Dinner and the Peking Opera in
the evening.
Forbidden
City: Also called Palace Museum and is located at the center of Beijing. It was the imperial palace during the Ming (1368 - 1644) and Qing (1616-1911) dynasties.
Tiananmen
Square: The biggest downtown Square of the world, it is located in the heart of urban Beijing and large enough to accommodate an assembly of one million people.
Temple
of Heaven: The place where the ancient emperors used to pray for the God's bless of the whole nation.
Beijing
Duck Dinner: Beijing Roasted duck is renowned as the most delicious food of Beijing.
Peking
Opera: Beijing Opera is deemed the national opera of China. The accompanying music, singing and costumes are full of Chinese cultural facts.

Beijing

Take an excursion to the Badaling Great
Wall and the Ming Tombs.
Badaling
Great Wall: One of the seven wonders in the world and the symble of China. The Great Wall extends to more than 5,000 kilometers.
Ming
Tombs: Located 60 Kilometers north of Beijing, Ming Tombs consist of mausoleums of 13 Ming emperors.

Beijing
- Xi'an (BLD)
Tour to the Summer Palace this morning.
After lunch, transfer to airport for
flight to Xi'an.
Upon arrival transfer to hotel. visit
the Ancient City Wall. Enjoy
the Tang Dynasty Dinner Show
this evening.
Summer
Palace: The largest imperial garden of Ming and Qing dynasty. The whole Summer Palace covers an area of over 290 hectares including more than 3,000 buildings, such as halls, pavilions, towers, etc.
Ancient
City Wall: The
wall is 15 meters wide and 11.9 kilometers
in perimeter, it is the best preserved,
oldest and largest ancient city defence
system in China.
Tang
Dynasty Dinner Show: A
performance of Chang'an music and dances
that was originated in the Tang dynasty
of Chinese history over a thousand years
ago. |

05 |
Xi'an (BLD)
Visit the
Terracotta Warriors Museum, the Big
Wild Goose Pagoda and the Forest of
Stone Steles Museum. Enjoy
the local speciality Dumpling dinner
this evening.
Terracotta
Warriors Museum:
The most significant archeological
excavations of the 20th century. It
is a sight not to be missed by any
visitor to China.
Big
Wild Goose Pagoda:
The Pagoda was first built in 652
in the Tang Dynasty. Xuanzang, a prominent
Buddhist scholar of the time, planned
to have ahuge stone pagoda built to
house the Sanskrit Buddhist scriptures
he had brought back from India.
Forest
of Stone Steles Museum:
The Stele Forest stores voluminous
artworks which possess not only eximious
value of handwriting and art, but
also rich cultural connotation. The
Stele Forest began to be built in
1087.
Dumpling:
A traditional and
popular food with a long history in
China. There is a popular saying in
China: "There is nothing more
delicious than Jiaozi."

06 |
Xi'an - Kunming
(BL)
Visit the Shaanxi
Provincial History Museum and the
Great Mosque. Transfer to the airport
for flight to Kunming.
Shaanxi
Provincial History Museum:
Covers an area of 70,000 square meters,
the museum houses a large collection
of 113,000 historic and cultural artefacts
unearthed in Shaanxi, being an absolute
must for every visitor to the city.
Great
Mosque: Built
in 742 A.D., the mosque was restored
in each of the Yuan (1271 - 1368),
Ming and Qing Dynasties. The distribution
of pavilions, halls, towers and platforms
in the mosque is compact and exquisite,
blending the traditional architectural
styles of Islam and Han.

Kunming
- Stone Forest - Kunming (BL)
After breakfast, drive 1.5 hours (90
KM) to visit the Stone Forest. Back
to Kunming in the afternoon and visit
the Golden Temple.
Stone
Forest: A massive
collection of grey limestone pillars,
split by rain water and eroded to their
present fanciful forms.
Golden
Temple: Originally
built in 1604 during the Ming dynasty.
Built in 1890 with 250 tons of solid
bronze, the present temple, 6.7 meters
in height and 7.8 meters in width, is
reputed as the largest bronze hall in
China. |

Kunming
- Dali (BL)
Take morning flight to Dali. Take a
cruise in the Erhai Lake then visit
the Three pagodas. In the afternoon,
we will visit the Dali Ancient City.
Erhai
Lake: A fresh
water lake in the Yunnan Plateau at
an elevation of 1972 metres, with
a length of 42 km and width of 8 km.
Three
pagodas: The
Three Pagodas are representation of
the ancient architectural and cultural
arts of the Bai nationality, erected
during the Wudai Period (907-979 A.D.)
of the Dali Kingdom.
Dali
Ancient City:
A famous Chinese historical and cultural
city and a national scenic zone. A
rich heritage dates back to the days
when the city was the capital of the
kingdoms of Nanzhao and Dali.

- Lijiang (BL)
Drive to Lijiang. Visit the Black Dragon
Pool in the Heilongtan Park and Lijiang
Ancient Town.
Heilongtan
Park: Inside the
park, many ancient architectures of
the Naxi people scatter amidst the lush
trees, adding unique view to this park.
Lijiang
Ancient Town: It
is situated on a plateau at an elevation
of 2,600m and is impressive because
of its scenery and lush vegetation.
There is no other town in China like
Lijiang which incorporates the folkways
of so many people and the architectural
styles of both north and south China.

Tour to the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain.
Visit villages of Naxi people, the Lijiang
Murals, the 600 year old Ten Thousand
Blossom Camellia Tree at the Yufeng
Lama Temple.
Jade
Dragon Snow Mountain:
A holy mountain for the Naxi people
that is located 15km north of Lijiang
city with an altitude of 5600 meters
(18,400 feet) above sea level. Visit
villages of Naxi people.
Lijiang
Murals: Made
in succession from the early Ming
dynasty to the reign of Emperor Qianlong
in the Qing dynasty. These mural paintings,
with their fine and smooth lines,
bright colors, vivid pattern and balanced
and harmonious composition are a wonderful
sight.

Take flight to Shanghai and transfer
to hotel. Free in the afternoon. |

Visit the Shanghai Museum, the Oriental
Pearl TV Tower, the Yu Yuan Garden and
the Bund. Enjoy the Portman Acrobatic
Show in the evening.
Shanghai
Museum: The museum
boasts over 120,000 pieces of collection,
including bronze, ceramics, paintings,
calligraphy, sculpture, ancient Chinese
coins, jade furniture, and western art.
Oriental
Pearl TV Tower:
With a height of 1,245 feet, it is one
of the tallest structures in Asia.
Yu
Yuan Garden: A
traditional Chinese park complete with
beautiful pavilions, miniature lakes,
bridges and rock formations.
The
Bund: With a length
of 1 km, the bund is dotted with various
grandiose solid buildings of western
style dating back to the early this
century in its west. Due to these imposing
buildings, the bund is also reputed
as "an international exhibition
of architecture". |

the itinerary of each city. The cruise
shore excursion is in-group assigned
by the cruise company.
