Day 01	Arrival in Beijing Upon your arrival in Beijing, our tour guide will pick you up at the airport and transfer to your hotel.

Day 02	Beijing (BLD) Visit the Forbidden City (the Imperial Palace), the Tiananmen Square and the Temple of Heaven. Enjoy the Beijing Duck Dinner and the Peking Opera in the evening. Forbidden City: Also called Palace Museum and is located at the center of Beijing. It was the imperial palace during the Ming (1368 - 1644) and Qing (1616-1911) dynasties. Tiananmen Square: The biggest downtown Square of the world, it is located in the heart of urban Beijing and large enough to accommodate an assembly of one million people. Temple of Heaven: The place where the ancient emperors used to pray for the God's bless of the whole nation. Beijing Duck Dinner: Beijing Roasted duck is renowned as the most delicious food of Beijing. Peking Opera: Beijing Opera is deemed the national opera of China. The accompanying music, singing and costumes are full of Chinese cultural facts.

Day 03	Beijing (BL) Take an excursion to the Badaling Great Wall and the Ming Tombs. Badaling Great Wall: One of the seven wonders in the world and the symble of China. The Great Wall extends to more than 5,000 kilometers. Ming Tombs: Located 60 Kilometers north of Beijing, Ming Tombs consist of mausoleums of 13 Ming emperors.

Day 04	Beijing (BL) Tour to the Summer Palace, the Yonghegong Lama Temple and the Beihai Park. Summer Palace: The largest imperial garden of Ming and Qing dynasty. The whole Summer Palace covers an area of over 290 hectares including more than 3,000 buildings, such as halls, pavilions, towers, etc. Yonghegong Lama Temple: A renowned temple of the Yellow Hat Sect of Lamaism and the only downtown Buddhism temple in Beijing. Its 5 main halls and many galleries are filled with exquisitely detailed tanka paintings and beautifully carved or cast Buddha images. Beihai Park: A famous beautiful Park which used to be the former palace of the emperors in successive dynasties, called the Winter Palace by Westerners.

Day 05	Beijing (BL) Visit the Fragrant Hills Park, Tanzhe Temple and the White Cloud Taoist Temple. Fragrant Hills Park: The park is situated in the east part of the western hills, In 1186, in the Jin Dynasty, Fragrant Hills Park Temple was built and terraces, pavilions and pagodas were added by the subsequent dynasties. The area was later converted into a park and was named the Park of Tranquility and Pleasure. Tanzhe Temple: A Buddhist temple built on a hillside and consists of various pavilions, prayer halls, courtyards and a group of pagodas dating from the Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties. At one time, it was one of the most important temples in the nation. White Cloud Taoist Temple: In the 8th century, the Tian Chang Temple was built in Beijing to house a statue of Lao Tzu. Although it burned down in 1202, the statue was saved . In 1224, Genghis Khan ordered the reconstruction of the temple. It came to be known as the White Cloud Temple. Today it is one of China's oldest and largest Taoist temples, housing the office of Taoist Association of China.

Day 06	Beijing / Exit (B) Have a Hutong hour by rickshaw. Transfer to the airport for your departure, end of service. Hutong: The old narrow lanes where common people lived. All the Hutongs crisscross with each other, dotted with the Kingdergarten, the Bell Tower, Drum Tower, Tea House, the lake, House of Gong Infante and local people's houses among them.

Note: The above price is not valid during the public holidays: 1-7th May, 1-7th October and during the first week of Chinese Lunar New Year which takes place in late January or early February.

Quotation Inclusions:

1. Hotel accommodation
The hotel is based on two persons sharing one twin or double standard room with private facilities.
2. Meals
Daily American or Chinese breakfast at the hotel, Chinese lunch and dinner in local Chinese restaurant as specified in the itinerary. B - Breakfast, L - Lunch, D - Dinner.
3. Private Transport
Private transport between airport or railway station and hotel and all the sights by air-conditioned vehicle.
4. Transportation between Cities
The economic class air tickets of the domestic flight or soft berth/seat train tickets between cities as specified in the itinerary.
5. Entrance tickets
The main entrance tickets for the sights mentioned.
6. Guiding service
All normal sightseeing tours in each city with English-speaking guide and admission fees where applicable. Our guide will not fly with you from one city to another. Upon your arrival at each city, a new local guide and driver will pick you up, be with you for local tour and see you off after you finish the itinerary of each city. The cruise shore excursion is in-group assigned by the cruise company.
7. Insurance
China Life Tourist Accident/Casualty Insurance. We highly recommend that you purchase full coverage travel insurance from you country of origin.
8. Tibet Travel Permit application fee
The Tibet Travel Permit application fee if your tour covers Tibet.

Quotation Exclusions:

1. Visa Fees
Charge of obtaining your visa to enter China.
2. Charge of arrival and departure
The international or domestic air / train charge of arrival and departure.
3. Single Room Supplement
Should a twin room is needed by a single guest, supplement of the twin room will be charged.
What is single supplement?
The hotel is based on double occupancy. If the visitor travels alone or the number of the travelers is odd (such as 3,5, 7...), who stays in one single room has to pay the single room supplement. As the hotel is on double occupancy.
4. Personal Expenses
Expenses of a personal nature such as laundry, drinks, fax, telephone call, optional activities or sightseeing, overweight baggage charges or meals not indicated, ect.
5. Optional Programs
Optional programs which are not specified in the above itinerary.
6. Tips to guides and drivers
Suggested tips: USD10-14 to tour guide per day, USD 8-10 to driver per day, but depending on their service, it's up to you, entirely voluntary.
